New Avro Lancaster ‘Wings of Triumph’ Remembrance Collection – WWII Tribute in RAF Colours and Art Deco Style
As we approach Remembrance Day, I’m excited to introduce the Avro Lancaster ‘Wings of Triumph’ Remembrance Collection—a range of products celebrating British resilience and honouring the legacy of WWII. This collection combines vintage Art Deco design with iconic imagery of the Avro Lancaster bomber, alongside Laurence Binyon’s powerful quote, “We shall remember them.”
A Collection to Honour Heritage
This unique collection includes mugs, tote bags, framed prints, and more, each available in two distinct designs:
- Bold Black & White with Gold Highlights – Featuring bold black and white sunrays with gold accents, this design makes a timeless tribute to the courage of those who served.
- RAF Red, White & Blue with Silver Highlights – Inspired by the colours of the RAF, this design incorporates the patriotic hues of red, white, and blue with silver highlights, perfect for those who cherish British aviation history.
All items from the ‘Wings of Triumph’ collection will be available on my website and showcased at Brighton City Airport from next week, as part of a dedicated display celebrating WWII history and British aviation.
Why This Collection Matters
Following the positive response to my previous artwork with experimental sunrays, I wanted to create something that honours our shared heritage. The Avro Lancaster, one of the most iconic bombers of WWII, symbolises courage, sacrifice, and resilience. Each piece in this collection features the Lancaster framed by vibrant poppies, underscoring the message of remembrance and making it a meaningful addition to any home or a thoughtful gift.
